Five beneficiaries of the Climate Innovation Vouchers program showcased Ukrainian climate technologies at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk – the venue where, on June 25–26, governments, international financial institutions and investors from dozens of countries came together to seek solutions for Ukraine’s recovery.
We are delighted that the URC organizing committee, which brings together representatives of the governments of Ukraine and Poland along with experts from the Reforms Support Team, invited our beneficiaries to demonstrate the potential of Ukraine’s cleantech sector.
So here are the alumni who presented their solutions in the URC 2026 expo zone:
- Ma’Rijany Hemp Company – Ukraine’s largest producer of industrial hemp and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe, turning hemp into fiber for textiles, insulation materials, hempcrete and bioplastics.
- K.tex – a manufacturer of nonwoven materials made from recycled textile waste: geotextiles for roads and drainage, insulation and fillers – giving a second life to your (and not only your) worn-out jeans.
- PRANA – Ukrainian producer of energy-efficient heat-recovery ventilation systems, exporting its recuperators to more than 45 countries.
- Striy Avto – a manufacturer of transport solutions: passenger and special-purpose vehicles, plus its own line of electric trucks.
- Ecofactor – Ukraine’s leading EV charging network, with over 5,000 charge points and in-house manufacturing of charging stations operating across 16 countries.
All five are alumni of the Climate Innovation Vouchers program http://www.climate.biz, launched in 2016 by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with financial support from the European Union and implemented by Greencubator. Over that time, the program has funded 64 Ukrainian climate innovation developers across a wide range of sectors, with grants totaling almost €2.3 million.
This is a moment that means a lot to us. We remember what each of these teams brought into the program, and we are thrilled to see them now growing Ukraine’s green GDP and representing Ukrainian business on the very stage where the country’s recovery agenda is being shaped. With Ukraine’s recovery partners, they speak the language of sustanable products, scalable technologies and joint projects.
